For over 40 years, Larry Powell Builders has been building homes that exemplify quality, beauty, and functional living. With over 1,000 homes built, we take pride in each and every home.

As a teenager, Larry Powell helped his father, James Powell, on job sites building homes. After college, he joined him in the business and eventually took it over. 

Larry's son, Larry Wayne Jr., worked many years in commercial construction before joining Larry Powell Builders as a superintendent. Since then, Wayne has worked his way up to becoming a partner.

Sticking true to their values as a local family-owned business, Kristine Powell, Larry Sr.'s wife, is the listing agent for all Larry Powell Builders' homes. A 24-year real estate veteran, Kristine understands the major importance of making a house a home and ensuring a smooth home buying process. 

After 40+ years and 1,000+ homes, the Powell name is strong and trusted in Tennessee residential construction.
